They are the most multi-purpose ski in the Rossignol box and they perform well in virtually all conditions. They are stable, fluid, float on powder, carve through crud or on the groomers. For all around all-terrain they are really one of the best and highly recommended skis of the season.
The One Luv is a stellar Ladies ski that excels on piste, but still has the ability to venture off-piste. With a women’‘s specific Bioflex core, and MOD Monic, the One Luv is high performing, yet forgiving. Combining the Bioflex core and the MOD Monic Technology enables effortless turn initiation and vibration reduction, essential for any advanced skier. Regardless of whether you ski powder, crud, on-piste or off, the One Luv will handle your every skiing need.
With 72 mm underfoot the recreational blue to black run skier will feel somewhat more comfortable in deeper snow with the True Luv's. They are an easy to use ski with lots of tolerance built-in. Built for aggressive skiers or just regular skiers who love the mountains and wish to explore a little further out of bounds without heading onto any terrain that’s too steep. A nice pair of skis for the majority of female or holiday/recreational skiers.
Beefed up from last year, the new X-Wing Fury is still easy to ski, especially to initiate. The moderate side cut and stiffer shovel make the Fury very stable and secure feeling even at warp speed. Ski them hard and they come alive delivering plenty of beef for even the most talented skiers. BIG MOUNTAIN FUN & A BEST PICK.
If you ski everywhere but prefer to ride one pair of skis, we have found a solution that works. The X-Wing Tornado is another ski that follows the “mid-fat” or “free-ride with more side-cut” doctrine. Groomers or glades, bulletproof steeps or bowls, the Tornado gives the skier a nice blend of carve or cruise, and does it with mild manners, allowing skiers to relax and enjoy the ride. Surprisingly light for this big a ski, the Tornado is very easy to control. Ski them hard and they answer every request. Back off a bit and cruise, and the Tornado is among the nicest feeling skis you will ever find.
Crafted for advanced skiers who like to take on any run on the mountain in varied snow conditions, the Nordica Hot Rod Nitrous ski has a 78-mm. waist and aggressive side-cut for exceptional carving performance with plenty of crud-busting potential. A narrower waist gives the Hot Rod Nitrous a bit easier turn initiation and a tighter turn radius. It's an ideal combo for skiers who like to rip through the tree line long after the powder hounds have packed down the freshies. The Nordica Hot Rod Nitrous ski features the XBS (X Balance System) binding interface that transmits consistent pressure from your boots to the ski edges for improved stability, balance and control. If you're looking for fun that goes fast, especially on hard-pack or groomed runs, the Hot Rod Nitrous takes you there in record time.
Fly down the mountain atop powder, crud or corduroy with the high-performance, all-terrain Salomon X-Wing Hurricane skis. The ''X'' in X-Wing represents the ski's over-shaped side-cut, which provides maximum performance when you're laying it lively on the groomers. Salomon’s XL chassis performs well in off-piste adventures where floatation and crud-busting power are essential and the Monocoque single-wall construction offers good edge grip and liveliness and is more forgiving than double-wall construction. Yet another winner from Salomon.
The K2 Apache Stryker balances ease, forgiveness and all-mountain performance, carving groomers as effortlessly as it rolls through powder and crud. With a 74 mm waist, healthy side-cut and forgiving flex, the Stryker offers the right amount of performance and versatility suitable for many skier types. The Torsion Box design provides ease, forgiveness, responsiveness and energy and the wood core produces a natural flex, allowing the ski to achieve full contact with the snow throughout the turn. Regardless of where you ski, The Stryker will make you smile from ear to ear.
The K2 Apache Recon is a high-performance mid fat with a mission: to explore every inch of the mountain. The Apache Recon takes advanced skiers into any off-piste terrain, from open bowls to tight trees to steep chutes. Twin metal laminate construction lends stability and precision edge control, and the Recon's 78mm waist provides a solid platform for powerful turns through any condition. K2 uses Mod-Monic construction, which puts a secondary elastomeric core under the top sheet for a damp ride, without interfering with the skis flex pattern. A fat shovel gives the Recon plenty of float in the soft stuff, but the footprint is still small enough to rail turns on the groomers.
Carve a perfect S down the mountain with the tight-turning Völkl Tiger Ten skis. Generous side-cut makes this ski a carving machine for the confident intermediate to expert skier, while a narrow waist allows quick, tight turns with minimal effort. The Tiger’s dual wood core features a single layer of wood spanning the width of the ski and surrounded by polyurethane to damp vibrations and the Power Grip construction puts additional material over the ski's edges where it can support the edges for enhanced grip.
Rocket through crud, float on powder and make tight turns on the hard-pack with the high-octane Nordica Hot Rod Jet Fuel skis. These skis are a great choice for advanced skiers looking to cover varied terrain on all aspects of the mountain. The 84mm waist provides ample surface area to stay afloat in untracked powder stashes; moderate side-cut lets you link turns on the groomers. The Jet Fuel’s wood core creates an all-purpose flex that won't sink or dive in powder, yet is stable at high speeds on hard snow and the X Balance binding System (XBS) utilizes a dynamic mounting platform to create a large sweet spot with an even, round flex and optimal power transmission by redistributing pressure created from a loss of balance either forward or backward, helping you return to a neutral position and stay in control.
For intermediate to advanced skiers, the all-new Attiva AC2 turns well on firm, groomed runs and instills confidence when conditions turn soft. The AC2 features Double Grip LT construction, plentiful side-cut and forgiving flex for skis that let you begin and end turns easily. It's a one-ski quiver for different days in different conditions! Attiva Motion iPT (internal power transmission) puts the binding interface IN the ski, creating the most rigid connection of any Motion system to date. The Motion system uses integrated rails to attach the binding, eliminating screws and allowing the ski to obtain its natural flex Allowing natural ski flex offers the skier improved control, stability, grip and an incredibly smooth ride. Double Grip LT provides excellent edge grip by running dual chambers from tip to tail, doubling the height of the construction above each edge and Double Grip LT's use of fiberglass in each chamber creates a softer, more forgiving ski.
